Learn to talk to busy people. You’ll get rich.

3 things on my mind right now:

1. It is such a privilege to be tired in pursuit of a goal you set for yourself. I remind myself this when I’m stressed - I chose all of this and I’m only stressed because there are lots of things going well.

2. There are good problems and bad problems. Bad problems are things like ‘How am I going to meet payroll next month?’. Good problems are things like ‘How am I going to take on all these clients?’. I’ve had both. You will have too. Realise when you have good problems and THRIVE in that challenge. Enjoy it.

3. Learn to talk to busy people, you’ll get rich. It’s a very unique way of talking to people, but if you learn how to talk to busy people (who are often rich and successful), they will like you more. Pro tips: Your communication should always save them more work than you give them. Never add to their plate. Never make them work more. Make everything short, clear and easy to understand.

I’ve also been working hard on YouTube content

These 29 Algorithm Hacks are going down well.

But the biggest thing I’ve learnt about a new habit or skill is reducing friction.

I put off YouTube for so long because there was friction - I had to travel to a studio, set up a camera, sort a mic, get a videographer to help, get the framing, etc.

None of those things are that hard.

But they’re inconvenient.

Now I have an at-home desk setup that I can get rolling in 76 seconds.

Lesson: If you want to pick up new habits faster, make them easier to do by reducing friction.
